Recipe: warming winter soup for when you really can't be bothered to cook

• 3 packets Sainsbury's Basics chopped vegetables for soup (expires 1 Jan)
• 3 veggie stock cubes, as per instructions for the above (expired 2009)
• big teaspoonful of ASDA economy Marmite substitute (expired 2009)
• handful of cheap green chillies, chopped (best before last month)
• 1 bulb of pearl garlic, crushed (best before the month before that)

Stick this lot in a pan. Boil for an hour. Serves one lazy fat geek. Cost, under £2.

First soup of the winter. I should make more. This should feed me for a couple of days...
