Linux examined: OpenSUSE 11.0
This latest edition has some updates and improvements, but is not for the faint-of-heart

Apparently, Red Hat's Fedora is based on Novell's OpenSUSE rather than, say, Red Hat's own Red Hat Linux. Who knew?

(No "upside down down under" jokes, please. The error is risible enough on its own.)

Oh dear.

I appear to be doing a talk about ROX and Linux at the RISC OS User Group of London this month.

I'd better practice my installation routine on this poor battered old Thinkpad, then.

Those who want amusement value might wish to come along. I believe the curry is quite good, even if the talk might not be. ;¬)

Oh, and it looks like I've got my first book on BookMooch already, too! Yay!
