This took me several goes.

There's a building. In it are seven kids (as in, children). Each kid has seven bags. In each bag are seven rabbits. Each rabbit has seven kits (a "kit" being a baby rabbit; actually, the word "rabbit" once meant a baby, the adult form being a "cony". The Victorians bowdlerised this to "bunny" as "cony" was pronounced "cunny", which is a slang word for the female genitalia. So there you go.)

How many legs are there in this place?

No, there are no amputees or unusually gifted-in-the-limb department individuals and we're not counting furniture, errant insects or anything else.
