Nov. 19th, 2004 12:48 amBy Jove, this is a long week. Another quiet night in, regrettably missing Skeptics in the Pub. It has given me time to fix one of my old servers, though, which I've given a CPU upgrade and stuck Windows Server 2003 on. This runs astonishingly well on an AMD K6-2 333MHz with 128MB of RAM, to my delight. Just two more dead servers to resurrect, then, and the whole farm will be running again - and I'll be able to make some backups for a change. That'll be pleasant.

rayb last night on IM. Not heard from him in a year or so. He showed me baby pictures. Eeeek! Apparently I ought to have one of my own. Eeeek²! He also asked to be included in the quiz scores, so click the cut tag to see his magnificent total!

Note to self: next time, I must post all versions of it at once...
In other news, the head's getting better. Occasional stabbing pains but most of the time I can rest it on things without more than very minor discomfort. Advice, kids: don't throw yourself at the ground and gash your head open. It really ruins your week.
