Skeptics in the Pub

... was fun.

Camilla and I and her mate Jules were (brace yourselves) late, due to fettling her PC all afternoon - but now she has a working scanner, SoundBlaster AWE32 and 4X CD and an extra couple of gig of disk space. And a noticeably faster PC to boot. </geek>

Montague Keen was an excellent speaker, but not as mad as one might hope for.

The evening was somewhat diminished by the unexpected absence of such regulars as cardboardnewman, lushattic and random_fan, but instead, I was delighted to encounter childeric, mr_flay and waistcoatmark - and Francis WINOLJ.
