Public information announcement: Poi-a-thon

I don't do poi myself and to be honest have no wish to, but my mate Ben Dessau, unexpectedly, does, and he's organizing a 10h continuous poi effort.

I'll quote him now:

On Sunday 9th November there is to be a 10 hour Poi - a - thon extravaganza with:
• 10 hour non stop poi
• Fire poi
• Live music
• DJs
• Raffles
• Art Workshop
• Juggling,
• Face Painting
• Beauty Pampering
• Bubbles
• Balloon Magic
• Beer
• Food

To Raise money for Trust4Jaia - a trust to raise money to raise awareness & help fight Group B Streptococcus (which sadly took the life of my friends Lara and Rob's baby - some of you may remember Lara and Rob from Glastonbury 1½ years ago).

It's at the Market (ex-Firkin) pub in Greenwich on Sun 9th November from noon to 11pm.

And I'm organising the poi - for my sins.

So you can sponsor me if you like and come along on the day for a fun day. And if you do poi or know people who do poi then let me know and I'll put you down for a poi session.
