Back in July sometime, half of one of my molars cracked and fell out. This alarmed me, but it had a positive side-effect: the toothache in that region which has plagued me for 15y or so went away. Several dentists have investigated without success.

But now the cracked remnant has got infected and it hurts like buggery. I think I need to go and have it removed. And I HATE going to the dentist.

I'm tanked up on Advil to remain functional, I slept about 4h 'cos of the pain and I feel very miserable. I wish I'd had this seen to before it went bad.

Waaaa.

I regularly see and hear people (here and elsewhere) whinging about popups, or the difficulty of finding, say, 2 times at once from Nation Rail's timetable page, or other niggles.

There's one simple reason. They're using a lousy browser. I refer to Microsoft Internet Explorer. It's a piece of rubbish, years out of date, slow, clunky, insecure, poorly and dangerously integrated into Windows and missing several crucial features that every other modern browser has.

But there are better answers. Opera is good, but costs money.
