Bad news and good

It's sad how short they live. I got Sid from the Ealing Animal Rescue Shelter in autumn 2001, as a vicious little bugger, allegedly - thus the name. When![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kjersti and her cats moved in, he went to live with my mate and former lodger Andy, who was very fond of him, but with Andy having a couple of long concert tours at the end of last year, he came back to me in his dotage. And now he's gone. <snif>
Anyway, EARS, run from a very croweded home by Ceri and Steve, is a great place, and if you're after something small and fluffy I urge you to go there. If not, just give 'em some money. I think I want another small fluffy thing now. Don't care for cats myself.
In brighter news, one of those tasks I hate doing is invoicing. But since I've just booked the trike in for a service, it was time to do a run, and I've just issued £2,600 worth. Rar! That should almost pay for the service...
