Bad news and good
Mar. 31st, 2003 07:19 pmI buried my hamster today.
It's sad how short they live. I got Sid from the Ealing Animal Rescue Shelter in autumn 2001, as a vicious little bugger, allegedly - thus the name. When
kjersti and her cats moved in, he went to live with my mate and former lodger Andy, who was very fond of him, but with Andy having a couple of long concert tours at the end of last year, he came back to me in his dotage. And now he's gone. <snif>
Anyway, EARS, run from a very croweded home by Ceri and Steve, is a great place, and if you're after something small and fluffy I urge you to go there. If not, just give 'em some money. I think I want another small fluffy thing now. Don't care for cats myself.
In brighter news, one of those tasks I hate doing is invoicing. But since I've just booked the trike in for a service, it was time to do a run, and I've just issued £2,600 worth. Rar! That should almost pay for the service...
