lproven | Broadband without BT

~~Bulldog~~ Cable and Wireless* has found the only way it can make its world-beatingly-awful customer service even worse.

It's closing my account & cutting me off. It is no consolation to know that I am not alone.

The problem is, I have no BT line. Bulldog took over my BT line.

I'm not a BT customer and I don't want to be. I've talked to Tiscali, Be & TalkTalk - they can't do ADSL unless I get a new BT line in. Easynet (which used to do LLU) is now Sky and its website says I need a BT line.

Anyone know of any ADSL providers that will also supply the phone line? Don't suggest Virgin - Mitcham is not on cable and for ADSL they use BT.

* Edit: I should perhaps have been rather more clear about the Byzantine subdivisions and corporate responsibilities behind the name...
