May. 28th, 2002 11:00 pmRain stopped play, along with a sad Scandiwegian.
So instead, I spent the day cleaning the trike. First, the fairing and screen.
"But you washed it yesterday!" protested the narky Norwegian.
"That was only a quick once-over to get the worst off", I explained while lying on the driveway scrubbing oil and road-crud off the bellypan.
"I’m going to say something stereotypical," she responded. "I wish you cleaned the house with this much enthusiasm."
Then I moved on to the wheels, first with alloy-wheel cleaner then a strong detergent-based one. There’s a fair bit of corrosion on the front and I’m not sure how to deal with it.
In between times, I also set up a new PC for my Mum, who’s quite interested in this Internet thing. I won’t wibble about that except to recommend Sterling XS - a great source for bargain kit.
