technofairy, so I ended up being the liaison between West Mid CAMRA & The Rankins.
Anyway, here's the spiel...

Robert will be opening the Ealing Beer Festival, AKA "B.O.B." ("Beer On Broadway"), at 12 noon on Wednesday 16th May 2007. This year, the festival is being held at the Barclays Sports ground just off the A406, Hangar Lane. Amongst other tipples, including British ales, foreign beers, ciders and fruit wines, we will be partaking of specially brewed Large and Hartnell's Millennial Ale.
The event is outdoors this year, so be prepared for the English Spring weather!

It's here. Roughly half way between Ealing Broadway and Hangar Lane Tubes, I reckon.
I am under strict orders to be there for the opening and not to be late!
