The journey computer informs the driver about the the average fuel consumption, the reach, the average speed, the time and the winger temperature (with acoustic warning signal below 3°C). For 1-Series, the immediate fuel consumption can also be shown. The functions are simply accessed via the button on the multi function panel and can be shown in every forseeable way on the instrument panel. In cars with Control-Display or navigation system, the journey computer's information is shown on the monitor. Here, additional functions are included such as choir time (?), speed boundaries (acoustic), dates, arrival time and the distance to the journey objective. The garage gate opener (additional equipment) is built-in to the car's rearview mirror and ceiling. The opener can simply duplicate the signal from an existed remote control. Then, this is no longer needed. Most systems on the market can be handled on this way. The garage gate opener can replace up to three different remotes.
