Furniture charities
Feb. 20th, 2004 02:24 pmSince I may, finally, have acquired a lodger, I really need to clear my computer room and move stuff into the garage.
That means my old two double mattresses stored in there have to go.
I've been told by Tanya & Dr Pete of a charity around Clapham which collects old furniture for re-use, but I don't know any details, nor does Googling for them reveal anything.
Anyone know of this place, or anything similar?
Or indeed anyone want a free mattress? :¬)
I'm also looking for a cheap or free single bed or even a modest-sized double at a push.
And an electrician to put some power points in my garage for the server farm.
All hints gratefully accepted & rewarded with beer!
