The problem of forgetting tea
Sep. 9th, 2012 03:26 pmAw jeez.
I have developed a habit of making tea & then forgetting about it, so it goes cold & must be microwaved. I tend to rediscover it when I vaguely think "thirsty" and go to make some more.
This morning (I use the word "morning" loosely, you understand), I couldn't find my one-pint tea mug - I looked everywhere, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, garden chair, sink. Nothing. So I had to use ordinary-sized mugs, doubling the forgetting problem. On rediscovering a forgotten cuppa just now, I went to the microwave to warm it up.
And presto, there is a one-pint mug of rewarmed, then forgotten and secondarily-cooled tea.
[*Sigh*]
This aging thing is a bitch. I know, better than the alternative, but still...
Anyway, I have lots of tea now, I suppose. [*Glug*]
