Anathema Device -- her mother, who was not a great student of religious matters, happened to read the word one day and thought it was a lovely name for a girl -- was eight and a half years old, and was reading The Book, under the bedclothes, with a torch.
- Good Omens, Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, 1990. (Corgi p/back, p38)

And if Anathema is a good name, then "Anathem" must be, too. I know I'm looking forward to it.

Which is what led me to this rather good interview with Mr Stevenson from Barnes and Noble. It includes links to a talk he did last year at Gresham College - and boy don't I wish I'd known about that - and some of the musical soundtrack and more.
