This means it's also Candlemas day, for christian types, and Imbolc for any passing pagans, witches etc.; it's another cross-quarter day today, half way between the winter solstice and the vernal equinox.
Despite the fact that I'm in the middle of 3 days off, still I was awake at 5am. Yesterday was the same, too. It seems to be habit-forming. Gah!
