Nomenclature

lprovenI have been acquiring new names. For the purposes of the TfL network, I am "Provenli", which I think sounds almost vaguely Chinese.
Many years ago - on a trip during which I lost my last-but-one Psion 3a, as I recall - I visited a one-off client in Brixton to try to get her University email working on her home PC via dial-up. I was not successful, though I got her in through PINE. (Poor girl.) She seemed, as far as my very limited abilities to tell, to [cough] rather like me.
I told her that she had to find out the name of the Uni mail server. She carefully wrote down that she needed a "male server". I gently corrected her. She went a lovely shade of pink as she heavily scribbled it out and wrote the postal variety of the homonym instead. It was very sweet.
Today, by way of contrast, a user thought I was "Liam Raven". You know, I rather like that one...
