Oomegoolies
Nov. 23rd, 2007 02:45 amWell, I have discovered something that I previously only suspected, tonight.
It is, in fact, possible to transport a 19" CRT monitor safely and securely on the back of a trike. Sit it on the back seat, bungee it securely onto the luggage rack with a cargo net, and it sits there. Doesn't even noticeably adversely affect the handling, either.
However, a typical long-neck CRT leaves about a 20-25cm gap for the rider, meaning, if he is male, that his gonads will be pressed into the unyielding steel of the fuel tank with pretty much his entire bodyweight. If this is a not inconsiderable 100kg or so, it's really, ah, quite uncomfortable. Good job I didn't want children anyway.
I am 40 years old. I am too old for this. I want a car.
Anyone want to buy a trike? It's very fast and quite shiny.
