This lady IS for turning

Have a look at this animation...

Now: which way is she spinning? From a top-down view, clockwise or widdershins? If you prefer, is it her left or right hand that's outstretched?

For me, she switches direction when I look away... It's very odd... But it feels as if it's not me, it's that the animation keeps changing.

There's some left-brain/right-brain guff about what the meaning is of which direction you see.
