Terror in the skies!

jamesb & Sim threw a party last night, to celebrate new house and impending nuptuals. My congratulations and thanks to both.

There were lots of people there. lushattic over-indulged a smidgen. eyeliner297 displayed a remarkable inability to get up from a folding recliner, but there were lots of chaps eager to help. technofairy & hubby were there, after a visit to the Expo, with impressive boots and corsetry. They seem very happy and are almost embarrassingly keen to thank me for introducing them, which makes me smile. tobesv was drunk (no!) and scoldful (of me) and argumentative (with others). I hope the causes of the latter two things are successfully resolved, for all concerned.

There was no the_major, though, which makes me sad, and I didn't manage to join khnark at any of this weekend's revelries, which is a damned shame.

There was laughter, there were tears, there was falling over. It was fun.

I had 2 very small glasses of 12yo Balvenie, which was very pleasant, but I feel like death today, which seems most unfair. I think it was less than 2 measures, overall.
