I'm a man of means by no means...

Which means it's going to be substantially more than fiddy cent, actually. More like eighty quid.

Alas, uon has departed for what sounds to me like a growing enclave of sin and perverse iniquity in Bermondsey, so out here in sunny Surrey, I am looking for an occupant for my spare room once again. As soon as possible, in fact.

I'm looking for about £80/wk plus a share of the bills. It's a spacious furnished room with quite a bit of shelf space, a single bed (but that might be changeable) & built-in wardrobes, in a 3-bed house otherwise occupied by just me. It's about a 15min fairly pleasant walk from Colliers Wood Tube, which is Zone 3 on the Northern Line, and I'm also near the Croydon Tramlink. Mainline station at Tooting is 15min walk away as well, and Wimbledon is a 10min bus ride away, for mainline trains and the District Line.(If a 15min walk from the Tube is too much, you can hop on a 152 bus for about 5min, from outside the Tube to a couple of minutes' walk away.)

It's well-served by nightbuses - the N155 runs from Aldwych to Colliers Wood every 15min or so all night, and the N44 goes to 5min away on Figges Marsh.

8Mb broadband and free computer support is included in the deal, too. Actually, make that a free computer, if you want it!

I don't smoke or drink or anything and am a veggie, but I try not to make a big deal over it. Loud music and antisocial hours not a problem. :¬) There is a cat but she's an exceptionally sweet little thing.
