On Linux and Macintoshes

Well, no, not really, but upgrading to the latest X.org X server has lunched my (admittedly, somewhat complex dual-screen Xinerama desktop) X server configuration so that now, although my PC is working perfectly, it's only doing so in text mode. Bugger. Hints on fixing previously-valid XF86Config files for X.org 6.8 extremely welcome.
So I'm on my Mac instead. Which is much more pleasant but it is a bit slow, being only a 300MHz G3.

And what's a good LJ client for OS X 10.3? Preferably with FL management & update notification as well as just posting.
Which reminds me, though - I wanted to spread the joy of Mac ownership a little further. I believe

redcountess wanted one of my spare ones - still interested, guys? I have now procured intact, undamaged UK keyboards and mice for both. Also, another mate, Roger Burton West, was sounding interested. Could anyone offer a lift to an elderly Macintosh from Mitcham to Walthamstow? Or possibly for TWO old Macs to there and Upton Park? One only has 10base-T Ethernet, one Thin Ethernet - state a preference.
