I got 13/14 on the warm up round, but only 9/14 on the hard one. Oo-er. Apparently I may only play with their dog under supervision. [G]

BrentCon was terrific fun, though I missed the pubcrawl, Friday and Saturday evening's events, for the GBBF and Chris Comley's parties respectively. However, these were also splendid events in their own right. Good weekend. I think I have got mild sunburn on my head.

However, that is not the reason I'm off to seek professional medical aid. /That/ is because my backache now means I can barely stand or walk... Aaaaaargh.

Discworld Con

I'm thinking of going to this, for variety. I've never been to a genre- or author-specific con in my life before. With any luck, I'll meet some new people.

Anyone from LJ going? I see the_magician on the registration list. What are these things like? Good? jamesb is somewhat scathing: "The security guys tell you to have fun, but not too much fun. I mean, WTF is 'too much fun'?"
