I was *so* tempted by the nearly-a-meme about Things I Hate (as started by ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sushidog), but it'd take me *weeks*. I shall restrict myself to just one: people saying "Liam, I know how you feel about polyamory, but..."
No, you don't. Very very few people do.
But it'll all get terribly tedious. So!
Instead: things I do far too seldom.
I have mown my lawn. I don't think I've done this myself for a couple of years or more. I had some deeply dodgy local lad who did it for me but he's not shown up in several months - probably locked up again. Took me 4-5h to clear 5 binliners' worth of clippings, dead thistles and most of a small elder tree that sprouted from nothing since Spring. I really bl00dy hate Thistles. However, I have a lawn again. Now all I need is a decorative girlie to sunbathe nude upon it, like what I use to have.
I have also trimmed other bits. Once again, I have no hair, only this time it cost me a tenner instead of making Chariddee a good few hundred quid. It is SO much cooler this way. Mmmmmmmmm. I also have no silly beard this time, although I am sporting a tiny Imperial once more. But no-one's noticed. (I cannot *believe* any friend of mine would be too polite to mention it. They'd be queuing up to take the p1ss.)
Speaking of which, quite a few of you still owe me money for last time. Cough up, lest I accost you individually.
Tonight: pub and possibly Tenebrae, I think. Anyone fancy a pint? And no, I'm not buying you one for National Sysadmin Day. I *am* a sysadmin. You can buy me one, or we'll come to some reciprocal arrangement.
