Single again.
Dumped by text message last night. Probably for the best for poor Caitriona, but... :¬(
EDIT: on the "by text message" bit. I put that badly, and it's not fair on Caitriona. It's the main way we've been talking; we're both too damned poor to have long distance phone conversations on a regular basis and there's been no night we've both been in and online at the same time for ages - more than a week. So texts it was. We've been emailing a bit as well, but texts are a lot more immediate. It's not that she was being abrupt or cold or impersonal or anything else, and I don't want to do her an injustice by leaving that inadvertent implication that it was so.
