Apr. 19th, 2004 07:30 pmJust playing with Mandrake 10 for the latest column. The freebie community edition doesn't come with RealPlayer, but the download from real.com works first time and moments later I'm listening to ResonanceFM.
And what's the first thing I hear? An advert from The Chap.
Frenchmen? Tired of defending your lady's honour? Our DuelMatic resolves this tiresome problem! At the first hint of indecency, a white glove pops out from behind your lapel, slaps the scoundrel in the face and proposes a time for your meeting, while simultaneosly booking your Second!

In other news, my LJ is going write-only for a while. I haven't had the time to read my friendslist for a couple of weeks now and the break is proving wonderfully refreshing, so for now, I'm staying away. You can consider yourselves all summarily deFriended if it gives you a warm glow of injustice. If I decide to come back, I may actually deFriend everyone yet, except for the feeds, so be warned.

nolley tells me that my primary CIX address (as seen on my userinfo page) is occasionally bouncing mails - another virus doing the rounds, I suppose - so you might want to try the same username on onetel.net.uk or hotmail.com.
