lprovenIt transpires that you can faff around until 8pm and still make a 9:30pm train to Market Harborough if you really rush.
It furthermore seems that whereas trying to take a recumbent bicycle on one of Midland Mainline's modern trains causes panic, consternation and outright hostility amongst their staff, taking a folding one is no problem at all.

the_major and I cycled along the towpath of the Grand Junction Canal to Foxton Locks where we had a pleasant lunch and ice-creams. There has been sun, there has been rain, but I guess you could say it's been a grand day out, Gromit.
