Skeptics in the Pub was a good one last night. A packed house, an amusing & interesting talk from Benjamin Radford from the Skeptical Inquirer.

Also met vatine in real life for the first time, which was interesting, as was finding out how many people we share as friends across various countries. It /is/ a small world.

And got asked out, which is always good. :-) But my dearly-beloved the_major has nothing to fear! ;-)

She also has just told me about The Spoon Theory, which I found a sobering and gripping read. It's about living with chronic illness. Recommended. It's not something that applies to me, but it makes good points.
